Tailored to your individual needs
I am dedicated to providing the highest quality of care, with an emphasis on cultural acceptance and understanding. I understand that having access to support services in one’s first language can be a great source of comfort, particularly during times of distress. As such, I strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where people can feel understood and respected.
Who I am
Hello, I'm Dr. Marie-Eve Martel
I’m a bilingual registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (#6475) and the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (#2785). I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 10 years and have been working in private practice since 2017, in addition to being actively involved in research and teaching in psychology.
I’m trained in “Third Wave” Psychology, also known as mindfulness and acceptance-based psychotherapies. I offer services via telehealth to adults in Ontario and British Columbia in both official languages.
Whether you’re having difficulty coping with life’s challenges or are experiencing symptoms of stress, anxiety, or depression, I’m here to help you get past these symptoms, reconnect with what’s meaningful to you and become the best version of yourself.
